Objective
Develop an illustration for Collective Arts Brewing’s new Artist Brand, inspired
by one of their product themes. The illustration should evoke emotion and
tell a story. The artwork must be cohesive in style, using chalk texture brushes
in Photoshop, and visually communicate the essence of the theme without
relying on typography. The illustration must ensure imagination, creativity,
and align with the beverage’s theme. This project showcases artistic talent
while adhering to the brand’s call for unique and diverse artwork.

Photoshop
PROCESS
I started by brainstorming a creative concept and, after finalizing a sketch I
was happy with, applied my illustrative Photoshop techniques, using various
brushes and experimenting with layers and blending modes. The challenge
was creating a seamless and visually appealing composition without making
the design too busy. Through perseverance and trying different color palettes
and brush styles, I developed a design that was both fun and interesting while
meeting the project’s objectives. I was inspired by the Japanese ukiyo-e style
combined with a psychedelic color palette, which helped create a unique and
captivating composition.
