Objective
Design a strong visual identity and label design for a custom-made Kombucha beverage made from second-generation glucose derived from cotton waste. Create a cohesive brand identity for three flavors, incorporating sustainability and waste reduction principles. The label should be applied to a glass bottle and consider creative design techniques such as die cuts, varied stocks, and custom illustrations or photography. The project focuses on effective packaging design, communication of the brand’s sustainable message, and the exploration of creative production methods.

PROCESS
I began the project by brainstorming the concept, aiming for a fun and playful
design to make kombucha more appealing, especially to new consumers. I chose a color palette that reflected the flavors of the drink to clearly differentiate them. The typography was hand-crafted, bold, and playful, creating an organic feel. I also used simple illustrations to highlight the natural ingredients of the kombucha. In addition to the label design, we were tasked with creating a marketing campaign, which included a single-page magazine ad and various social media posts to increase content engagement and brand awareness. A challenge I faced was frequent changes in the client’s direction, but through efficient communication and collaboration, we adapted the design and campaign in a timely manner, ultimately delivering a final product and marketing assets that satisfied the client.
